Mission Statement
The Houston Salsa Dancers Inc. is an organization dedicated to educating others about the richness of the Latin culture through dance. The organization is also very devoted to the young faces of tomorrow. Our goal is to raise money to fund educational programs for learners of all ages. To preserve Afro-Caribbean artistic expression. Educate and promote advancement of children through cultural diversity and fine arts.
The Houston Salsa Dancers Inc. is a non-profit organization that has developed several programs that continues to teach inner city students how to dance. It's main purpose is not only to expose students to different latin communities, cultures, and heritage through dance, but also to facilitate a positive body image and increased self esteem. An integral part our mission is to offer yearly scholarships to students that are involved in the Houston salsa dance community.
